Abstract | The objective of this paper is to analyze some digital image processing techniques that can contribute for studying vegetation cover and land use dynamics. In particular, it is emphasized the vector change analysis as the transformation detection technique, and on the other hand the Bhattacharyya conventional classification technique per region, as the comparative element for the results obtained by the previous process. This approach was performed to study the land use land cover dynamics in the Peixoto region, Acre State, using multitemporal and multispectral Landsat TM data. |
